Time-lapse Experiments

Downtown Phoenix - Against the StormI was in Phoenix on the 29th floor of a hotel when the storm hit September 27, 2014. I could see it coming.

I setup my tripod and camera in the window and started a time-lapse sequence. I figured it would be short as once the rain hit the window I would be done. That was just 13 minutes. Even set to half speed in the movie the sequence is only 6 seconds. But dramatic to say the least.

Watch as 2 transformers blow up in the distance. The streets flooded, trees went down and more during this.
